Department of Business Administration Academic Lecture “Competition Study of Shared Mobility Platforms under Fairness Concerns” Successfully Held

On the afternoon of November 18th, 2024, the academic lecture “Competition Study of Shared Mobility Platforms in the Context of Fairness Concerns” organized by the Department of Business Administration was successfully held in 601 Wenhan Building East. Prof. Zhong Yuanguang from the School of Business Administration of South China University of Technology was invited as the guest speaker, and the lecture was hosted by Secretary Yu Xiaopeng of the School of Business Administration.



Secretary Yu Xiaopeng grandly introduced the guest speaker, Prof. Zhong Yuanguang, and warmly welcomed Prof. Zhong's arrival. Prof. Zhong has been focusing on green supply chain research for a long time, and his academic achievements are remarkable, with many representative papers published in international authoritative journals such as MS, OR, MSOM, POM and so on.



Prof. Zhong shared the results of “Research on Competition of Shared Mobility Platforms under Fairness Concern”. Afterwards, the participating teachers and students had an in-depth exchange and discussion on the research results shared by Prof. Zhong. Teachers and students from our college had an in-depth discussion with Prof. Zhong Yuanguang about the order allocation algorithm of online car-sharing platforms, the method of realizing the pricing fairness constraint, and the strategy of price discrimination of competing platforms against large platforms, etc. Prof. Zhong Yuanguang patiently listened to the discussion and shared his own insights and ideas.
