In order to widely develop employment channels, promote the vigorous development of university education, and deepen the integration of industry and education, on January 16th, led by Professor Shi Junwei, Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration (SBA), and Zhu Yanping, Deputy Secretary of SBA, specifically organized and coordinated by the Department of Human Resource Management, the Center for Talent Development and Organizational Development, and the Center for the Study of the Digital Economy and Business Ethics, 21 teachers and students of SBA, and 6 teachers from other institutions went to the East-West Lake District, Centrin Digital Valley Technology Co., Wuhan BOE Optoelectronics Technology Co., and Wuhan Baolongda Information Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out the activities of visiting enterprises and studying enterprises.
Our teachers and students visited three high-tech companies, Wuhan Baolongda Information Technology Co., Ltd, CICC Digital Valley Technology Co., Ltd, and Wuhan BOE Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd, and carried out in-depth research from enterprise culture to honor and qualification, from enterprise strategy to function management, and from big number platform to digital intelligent transformation.
In the conference room of BOE Optoelectronics Technology Company, the leaders of Wuhan East-West Lake Employment Promotion Center fully affirmed the schooling achievements of SBA and the significant contribution to the high-quality development of East-West Lake District. On behalf of SBA, Vice Dean Shi Junwei delivered a speech, thanking the leaders of East-West Lake District and the friends of the enterprise sector for attaching great importance to this activity, and indicating that the various majors of SBA will be deeply integrated into the economic and social development of the East-West Lake District and the transformation of enterprises' digital intelligence. Mr. Liang Miao, Human Resources Director of CICC Digital Valley Technology Co., Ltd. said that AI has a great impact on the development of enterprise talents, and enterprises should incorporate the cooperation with universities into their strategic planning and jointly cultivate talents with AI skills and digital literacy. Wu Li, vice president of Hubei Human Resource Managers Association, put forward that technology empowers enterprise talent development, and it is necessary to cultivate talents with composite domain knowledge and skills.
Professor Zhao Chenhui, Director of the Research Center for Talent Development and Organizational Development of our institute, talked about how digitalization and intelligence have become an inevitable trend of enterprise development with the global intelligentization process and the deep development of AI technology. Prof. Li Minglong of our institute proposed that universities should explore the transformation of talent cultivation mode according to the development trend of AI technology, to deliver more high-quality talents for the AI era, to improve the AI teaching level of teachers, to strengthen the teaching of AI-related courses, and to cultivate students' AI literacy.
Prof. Luo Fan of Wuhan University of Technology said that industry-university-research cooperative education needs to encourage innovative thinking and cross-border cooperation to promote the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements. Outstanding young entrepreneurs also shared their views on the current wave of AI in the field of manpower.
So far, this activity of visiting enterprises and studying enterprises was successfully concluded, and all of them agreed that in the face of the global intelligentization process and the in-depth development of AI technology, Chinese enterprises should actively respond to it, take the initiative to seek changes, take innovation as the driving force, and promote the in-depth fusion of industry-university-research and application, so as to enhance the technological innovation ability and market competitiveness of enterprises.
