The 2023 Hubei Craftsman Cup Vocational Skills Competition - Provincial Human Resource Service Industry Vocational Skills Competition Finals and Academic Exchange Meeting was successfully held on 28th December 2023, at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL). This event was organized by the School of Business Administration (SBA) of ZUEL, which provided a platform for the majority of skilled talents in the human resources industry to exchange views and learn from each other.
The experts and judges who participated in the finals of this competition included Zeng Jiuzhou, Deputy Director of Hubei Vocational Skills Identification Guidance Center, Liu Chunzhi, Deputy Director of the former Political Research Office of Hubei Provincial People's Government, Li Yanping, Second Grade Professor of Wuhan University, Long Lirong, Second Grade Professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Guo Huibin, Second Grade Professor of Hebei University of Economics and Trade, Prof. Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, Hu Chuan, Vice Dean and PhD supervisor of the SBA, all the teachers of the Department of Human Resource Management, and the 40 contestants and their instructors who entered the finals after the assessment and screening of the preliminary round.
At 8:30 a.m., the first speech was delivered by Wu Haitao, Dean of SBA, on behalf of the organizer. He said that Hubei Craftsman Cup Provincial Human Resource Service Industry Vocational Skills Competition and Academic Exchange Meeting is not only an event in the field of human resource management, but also an important opportunity for the SBA and Human Resource Management to strengthen the construction of new business discipline.
Subsequently, Long Lirong pointed out that the competition and experience in the human resources skills field of competition and experience to enhance the professional exchange of college students, through the competition to promote learning, learning to promote the use of the platform of enterprises and universities, teaching and business professional exchanges, communication, information sharing, and promote the integration of industry and education and collaborative education and common development.
Then, the chief referee Prof. Li Yanping read out the rules of the competition and precautions, and swore on behalf of the referee group, the participants on behalf of Tian Zhonghua, on behalf of all the contestants swore.
From 9:10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the contestants were tested on the practical skills of human resource management in the machine room of Wenquan Building. Moreover, the practical system also automatically generates a personal practical report for each participant, which is convenient for the participants to review and recapitulate the various aspects of the practical exercises, so as to practically promote teaching and learning by competition.
At 2:00 p.m., the recruitment competition was officially opened. After the screening of HR management practical skills test and resurrection match, a total of 16 contestants stood out and successfully got the admission ticket of the recruitment competition.
After the Recruitment Competition, Prof. Li Yanping, the chief referee of the Competition, summarized the Competition as a whole with three keywords: enrichment, specialization and diversification. After that, the chief judge, Prof. Zhao Chenhui, expressed his wishes and expectations for the HR practitioners and hoped that the Hubei Craftsmen Cup HR Management Vocational Skills Competition would broaden the development path of HR practitioners.
